Hello guys... After I tell you my history in presentation forum I need specific help.
If someone doesn't know I broke 2 pistons for bad timing tune that was tune for a paid tuner of my city..
My car is a gpunto 1.48v fire.. compression ratio is 8.5:1 and I use 98 Oct shell fuel only. And I boost 1.3 bar max constant 1.26
I wanna know what values are approximately good for my engine as base .. I don't wanna broke again.
I was talking with other 2 tuners here. And one say that in fuel boost (1.26 bar) timing must be around 9 ° and the other say that timing must be approximately 20°...
I'm so lost. I don't have previous experience .

Hi, there is not a specific value for the advance comprared to the compression ratio valid for any engine, it depends on many factors, such as piston bore, shape of the combustion chamber, domes on the piston top, camshaft timing, and the turbocharger you used.
With that 72 mm piston I would stay around 12° in the max torque range, up to 18° after the power peak, clearly with the right AFR (11-11.5)

Thanks. This is that I wanna know.. a reference.... I have a kkk16 borgwarner turbo with original camshaft.

Before doing damage again, starts from this base.
You don't have good cylinder head.
12° in the max torque range is too much in my opinion.

I use only 100octane but @ 1.3 bar you can use 95.
